(January 19, 2021, 6:08 pm)I have had my WG24 for about a week now and I have ground about 35-40 stumps, mostly Oak. All of this work was done in roughly 4-5 hours. I have 10 Acres of heavily wooded land that I am working on and have trees of all sizes that need to be ground below grade.
Just for a perspective on efficiency:
I rented a Bobcat T85 with a grinder attachment for 16 hours for $565.00 and I was able to take down 19 stumps in that time. Each and every moment was a struggle and I was only able to get them about an inch or two below grade because it took forever for that arm to swing from left to right and about 1/2” at a time.
In roughly 5 hours with the WG24 I have almost doubled what I was able to do with the Bobcat T85 and every one of the stumps I have done with the WG24 are at least 6” below grade. In that time I also want back and finished the job that the T85 didn’t do.
Does the WG24 work? Yes, very very well, it is by far the best and possibly the most valuable piece of equipment I have purchased in my opinion.
Does it give you a neck ache? Yes, but it is well worth it. I really don’t like being on my tractor for more than about 2 hours at a time anyway which is about where I hit my limit with turning around. All in all, it’s not that big of an issue.
At the end of the day you have to decide what is right for you. What I can tell you is that the WG24 and all the people I have dealt with at Woodland Mills have been fantastic. I firmly believe that this stump grinder is Nothing short of amazing for land owners with a lot of trees. Most things you buy in this day and age are designed to last a couple years. The WG24 is bullet proof and will probably be here long after me.
Bottom line is that this is a great company and great product and I highly recommend it.

Okay, I have had this Stump Grinder for over a year now and I have to say that it has completely transformed my life. Thank you Woodland Mills for building an outstanding product that has performed flawlessly hundreds of times.
