  Rose and LoriAn are two of the servers at Haugen's. If you like freshed made pies and home styled cooked chicken and ribs on an open fire. This is the place to be in Scugog. Can get very busy at times.

  My family has been eating at this restaurant for many years, even when we lived some distance away. Recently we went there for dinner with our 2 year old son and our server, Lisa was great with him! He's a shy guy and she was friendly but not overbearing which kept him happy and calm through dinner. He even waved goodbye as we left and he never does this to strangers! Thank you for providing such a great experience every time!

  A tasty meal at a reasonable price. Old-fashioned comfort, like going to your grandma's for dinner. Service was very friendly without being pushy. The apple pie was homemade quality, and the chicken was moist and tender. Kids'portions we're just right. Will definitely go back!

  Wonderful chicken and ribs place. Very nice friendly service. I don't like their original chicken sauce but they is my preference; I prefer their harvest sauce which is more similar to Swiss chalet sauce. Only criticism was that my strawberry pie to end my meal wasn't very good. I tried my daughter's apple pie and it was fantastic. Will definitely go for the apple pie next time.
