Biggest THANK YOU to the owners, coaches and member associates! I have been a member for about a year now and attend
The OTF Pickering 2 times a week. I will be leaving this location only because I live in Bowmanville and they are opening one there very shortly.
The owners are truly amazing! They really love their members and make everyone feel welcomed. They book workouts with many different members to encourage them. Before classes, they engage in conversation with members sometimes leaving us in stitches over the “bar yoga” exeriance. Lol.
The coaches, what can I say about them that hasn’t already been said. They motivate and push you to your limits. I have noticed my own endurance level increasing. Their enthusiasm for the workouts is addictive.
Member Associates, the girls at the front counter. The best at greating each member as they enter into the studio. They deal with many of the member questions, issues and our monitors not working and I have only experienced their professionalism and calm manor in dealing with each member.
Last but not least, other members. Friends, workout partners and motivators. I feel I made some true friendships here. You know who you are *wink wink.
Thank you again OTF Pickering. I will be back to visit!
I actually love how the owners are there to greet us. I love the workouts and trainers. It is so much better for me to be pushed than it is to workout alone and not give it my all. Pickering OTF is great...all staff are wonderful! Any bad reviews are because spoiled, entitled people think they can book a class and not be charged for late cancellation.
The coaches are truly excellent (I've been to several Orangetheory locations and they have the best coaches I've experienced so far) and the workout itself is awesome. It can change your life. Overall, though, this location should improve its front desk customer service (to be clear, this doesn't include the amazing coaches - but it does include the owners) because it was enough to make me quit the studio, despite the fact that I love Orangetheory and this location is most convenient for me. It was better when I first started in May - in my personal experience, they dole out preferential treatment to some members over others, and as someone who had racked up 120+ classes over seven months I can tell you that their rapport-building efforts aren't correlated to how often you attend classes. It's genuinely a great place to go for a workout if you don't care about that stuff, though. And you might end up being one of their favourites, in which case you won't have any issues. Unfortunately the inequality irked me, so I'm resuming my membership at a studio that's less conveniently located. I do appreciate Michelle's efforts to follow up with me upon cancelling.
