  A better alternative for great South Indian Food right here in Durham Region. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised when we tried this restaurant for the first time recently. Being born and raised in Chennai, I do crave for authentic vegetarian South Indian food at times. I was not disappointed at Madura. The food tasted very authentic, the place is very well maintained, clean, & excellent hygiene, including the washrooms. The staff were very pleasant, polite, and courteous. Will certainly go there again, and again...
  
  Wishing them success, and I certainly will recommend this restaurant if you are looking for dosas, idlys, etc.,. You can save yourself a drive to Scarborough.

  Post covid our first dine in at a dosa place. Loved the dosas here. Very very fresh yummy dosa, idli, uttapa and they make some really good filter coffee. Vfm and a very friendly staff. Clean and hygienic place with a good dining area.

  Excellent vegetarian food! Tried the rasam soup, onion dosa, butter paneer masala, idli 65, masala chai and rasmalai. All were delicious. Very fast service for dine in and friendly staff.

  Just did take out and I have to say it was unbelievable!! The flavor was beyond satisfying. Price good, portions enough for a next meal. My new favorite Indian restaurant!
