If your into old fashioned camping. This is the place. Their showers work great. Bathrooms were clean. Just overall very happy with this campground. Will be back next year for sure. -

(September 7, 2020, 1:46 am)This is our first visit to this campsite and we stayed there for two nights. It is not a resort and it does not have a swimming pool. The water supplied outside of the office is not for drinking and we brought our own drinking water.
However, it had what we needed. The washroom/shower are about 200m away from our tent site. And there is room for laundry and washing dishes. The Sandbanks beach is close by and we enjoyed boating on the East lake. I also saw many people are having fun fishing there.
The camp is full of happy people and the owner visited us at least four times during our stay asking if we need any help.
It is a warm, happy land surrounded by beautiful lake and forest. It is crowded and even a bit noisy. But it is moderate (not fancy) place where it is sweet like home. I will definitely go back again and will recommend to my friends. -

(September 7, 2020, 1:20 am)My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at the Sandbanks Cottages & Camping! The owner was very accommodating and helpful. The place was clean and nice. Nice view , bathrooms were cleaned. Overall our 2 night stay here was awesome! I will definitely come back again! ☺️ Thank you!

(July 9, 2020, 3:56 pm)Let's cut to the chase. This is as pure of a cottage experience as you're ever going to get. This includes the mosquitoes (bring Thermacell cause it really works), ants, fishing in the docks, swimming and an amazing view of east lake. The sandbanks beach is 5 minutes away by drive and its one of the best beaches I have ever seen in Ontario. The owner and operator is very accommodating and is always there to help you or assist you with your cottage needs. The cottage we stayed in cottage 5 i think has one of the best views in all of the cottages. It even has a sliding door which faces the lake so you can watch the beautiful sunset. We fished and caught bass, pike and many more. I will recommend this place over and over again just for the experience and the pure cottage experience. If you want glam cottage, then don't go to this one. But if you want cottage that is with nature then pick this.
