(September 27, 2018, 11:51 am)Worth the trip for the drive alone. I don't often get to this end of the county. Try the wine at Half Moon winery. I didn't find a trail but I think there is one. Anyways, there's a nice 1.5km or so walk to the bay and we saw a heron, some chipmunks, tons of frogs, and a few cormorants. Really pretty on the right day.

(September 5, 2018, 12:07 pm)Wasn't really much to see. It's not an official park, nor is it curated. Some were swimming here and there around but at best it's a 15 minute stop for pics.

(August 22, 2018, 2:54 pm)A nice, but not fancy, national wildlife area with a great little bird monitoring and banding program. Fun for kids to see them net and release the birds.
