(May 13, 2018, 9:20 pm)Just returned from the Black River B & B, where we had afternoon tea. Yes, we had tea, along with the most interesting instruction on the origins of tea, and the fabulous collections belonging to Brian and Conrad. Then the tea, which consisted of an assortment of cheeses, shortbreads, jellies, jams, honeys and sandwiches, and a host of other goodies, topped off with a wonderful banana bread. To many to be able to include all of it. The added bonus, a huge variety of birds eating from the various feeders aligning the porch facing the river. All made for a most delightful afternoon. Brian and Conrad are such lovely hosts, and their home is a pure delight. Hope to go again soon, once I have worked off the thousands of calories I have consumed this afternoon.
