(March 3, 2020, 2:29 pm)Some chicks aren't the best quality. Most standard breeds are pretty good chickens and Lay a decent amount of eggs.
I got silkies here multiple times and they weren't the best quality birds. I got a silkie chick that had an improper comb type and had other small imperfections/abnormalities.
Other than that their birds are great -

(May 20, 2019, 11:28 pm)Great selection of birds, easy on-line ordering system. Communication through e-mail was clear and concise. Pick up day couldn't have gone any smoother. We drove for 3+ hours to get there and our birds were ready to go in less than 15 minutes. Lovely, healthy chicks. Website says day olds, ours were closer to 5 days but that's fine!

(June 29, 2018, 1:29 am)I had a great experience and my 15 chicks are healthy, friendly and beautiful. Jason answered my MANY questions, and never lost patience with me.
I love the attention to bio-security and am glad for the “lemonade stand” method of chick pickup. I don’t let people tromp around near my livestock, either.
It was worth the 3 hour drive, and I have a list of friends and family wanting to know where I got my special poultry. Next year I’ll be placing orders on behalf of most of my hometown! I hope they’re ready to hatch LOTS of eggs for us! -

(April 29, 2017, 2:33 am)I've been ordering from PP since 2012 and have always had an excellent experience and received healthy birds. Their website and ordering process is great. Sometimes they take a while to return calls/emails, but that's because they are only a couple people who do this mainly on the side and are busy. Jason is a vet tech I believe and is always answering my questions by email. Very knowledgeable! I recommend!
