(December 10, 2018, 2:46 pm)My Mom has been here almost since it opened. She lived at a couple of other retirement homes and decided to try Kawartha Heights when it opened. She has a fabulous one-bedroom suite. The nice thing about a new-build is that everything is beautiful and new and the room sizes are fabulous! Beautiful bathrooms with walk-in showers, high ceilings, individual climate control, tiny, efficient kitchenettes............I really can't say enough great things about this place. The dining room, outdoor patio and common areas are very large, luxuruous spaces and the lobby has a welcoming fireplace - much like a luxury hotel. She loves the food and, the staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. I'm very happy and so very relieved that my Mom is being taken care of at Kawartha Heights Retirement Living! Take a tour! You'll be very impressed.

(December 10, 2018, 4:11 am)Had our family Christmas dinner and gathering at KH today. Dinner was awesome... Delicious, hot, and tasty. All the staff were helpful and made everything run smoothly. Diane and Tammy....thank you! Mom had a lovely dinner with all of the family...first time in over 6 years!! Merry Christmas to all of the staff and thank you for all you do to make mom feel at home.
