    We truly enjoyed!
In a time when many places, especially public ones, are taking the easiest route by simply closing, Petroglyphs has modified operations so they can stay open. Your efforts were greatly appreciated.
We were honoured to be able to visit, to learn, and to explore.
    Thank you!

Very good informative center. There are 2 locations inside within walking distance. The learning centre and the glyphs. No pictures allowed at the glyphs but pictures are allowed at the learning center

The only flushable washrooms are at the learning center but toilets exist elsewhere as well.

Mcginnis lake was good. Perhaps would look different on a sunny day..

If you love hiking.. this is the best place. Multiple trails. Requires Parking permit..15$ per car. It has learning centre which is kind of museum for the glyphs and the inuit arts and sayings. There is a separate place to see the sacred Petroglyph where dogs are not permitted and also photography is not allowed. I loved the McGinnis lake and trail the most. Note- Please carry food, water, mosquito repellent and after bite. Limited washrooms available. The entry to trails close at 3 pm and the park closes at 5pm. So best time to reach the park is 10 am ~ 11 am so that you have enough time to explore the trails.

Wonderful place, the museum is inspiring, the petroglyphs super interesting. The trails are great, not a single piece of trash! Raw nature. The red trail around minnow lake was amazingly beautiful. Excellent place to spend quality time with the family outdoors. The price of admission is cheap (15$) and the food in the museum store is priced fairly.

Glad I went but wouldn't go too far out of your way if you're interested in the petroglyphs specifically

It's a 5 min drive into the park to reach parking. 5 min walk to the visitor centre to buy tickets and pay for parking. 5 min walk to the petroglyphs which are inside a building. 15 min to walk through the building in a circle around them with a few plaques with info. Masks are needed to enter. The building is around the actual petroglyphs so they haven't been moved, they are on a rock face on the ground. No pics allowed in the building or of the building.

The visitor centre has some history in it that you can walk through once paid and getting directions. They signal you when it's ok to enter the building and masks are needed. Waited 10 min for two families ahead of me.

Dogs are not allowed into the petroglyph area. They can get half way there. Did see one kid waiting for his family to come back

Gift shop is bare with almost no authentic aboriginal items. Figured they'd at least have some magnets of the petroglyphs

Hiking trails looked nice and many people seemed to be using them over visiting the petroglyphs. I made it by noon on a Wednesday and parking was getting full though the bus area was completely empty and their looked to be a few cars parked on the other side of the trail entrance
