Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Public Library

Friendly, helpful and cheerful. I love going there. Not really big, but will do their best to get what you need.

This is a great little library. Havelock is a small, in population, municipality that covers a large area. Expecting it to have libraries open seven days a week when larger centers don't offer this type of service is a bit unrealistic. I find the staff very helpful, the stacks well stocked with a variety of books and it is a nice quiet spot to do some research or just browse. In addition they have a pile of used books you can buy for a donation of whatever you wish to pay. Perfect for a summer time paperback to help pass the time while you relax. They also have electronic lending of digital material through their website. Very pleased with it overall, and I am well familiar with larger libraries. As I said before, excellent staff.
