  The place has a nice "new instrument smell". Of course there are too loud people trying out pianos and guitars, but that is normal. There are also slighty haughty, superior staff who are too important to be nice to customers, but that is a music store! (They hide the friendly staff at the rentals / repairs counter) They have great selection, rentals, financing, repairs. I have always been very happy there.

  Very organized and he workers will help you perfectly, kindly, and accurately! I get what I need each time! Once, my dad bought a microphone stand, and it broke. They let him switch it on for a brand new one! No payment! I also bought my guitar, ukulele, and capos there, and they are all still in perfect condition!

  I enjoy going into this Location the most! Staff are frienly and knowledgeable. There is a wonderful employee named Denice! Denice is very approachable and she knows her stuff. She seems like she genuinely enjoys her job and never makes me feel dumb when I ask a very novice question about an instrument. Great work????.

  I have found this Long & McQuade music store on Rathburn Road in Mississauga the best store in terms of layout, inventory, variety, customer-service and above all, after-sales service.
  
  From professional to amateur musicians to those just developing interest in learning to play an instrument or producing a musical recording, they will find the latest and the greatest gadgets in varying price category. This store caters to all genre of music - guitars, keyboards, drums, harps, flutes, trumpets, saxophones, as well as recording, monitoring and play-back devices including, mics, filters, headphones, speakers, sound recorders, audio interfaces, cables, wires, connectors, sheet music, and many many more. etc. The prices are reasonable and very competitive. In fact, I have compared prices of most of the items I bought from this store against other retailers including, online giant, Amazon. And I found them either the same or a few dollars less or more at this store. I must say that I also bought a few small things here, like audio cables, connectors, etc where the prices here were a bit higher, dollar or two, but it was worth it. I had the satisfaction that if in case, the thing didn't work for me, they would replace it or give me refund. Just today, I took back a defective Y-cable that I had bought a couple of months ago. They gave me a new one, no question asked. If I had bought it elsewhere. I don't think they would have done it.
  
  Just so, everyone knows, I am not a professional musician nor am I connected to this store in anyway, except being an occasional customer. I play piano and record my sessions as a hobby; So, what I have 'noted above is based on purely my feelings my personal and pleasant experience that I have had on each and every visit to this store in the last four years .
