  My daughter and I went for haircuts on monday - my daughter has more expensive taste than I so we skipped the usual "cheap" salons and came here. Neither of us had been before. I am all about "customer service" and grading the individual service and NOT the business itself, if that is the "issue" so I found it hard to rate as my daughter LOVED her cut! (her hairdresser was a younger gal with black/reddish hair) - my cut...well...I tried showing some pics and explained tgat my hair is THICK and puffy so I know going short poses some problems (but hey! This is a more "upscale" place so they'll "get it". Right?) anyways - cut...done...but after I got home, and "played" with my hair a bit....I wasn't"sure" I liked it. I posted some pics to a mom group and had a couple of ladies comment. The general consensus was that I should go back (which I have NEVER done before) - I stopped in there this morning and the lady that did my daughters hair spoke with me. She booked me with the same lady that did my hair monday, for 3pm today. I went. She got me in her chair, but when I explained tgat I wanted some of the "bulk"/puffiness gone from the crown area, she basically said there was nothing she coukd do. That I have too much hair and cutting more would make it stand up. I was nuce. I said ok, thanks anyways. But it really upset me...because now, I will probably end up going "at it" with scissors on my own, or paying somewhere else to "fix it" - very disappointed - mostly because I HATE spending any money on myself (unless its coffee lol) - so...if you are more than a "low maintenance" gal, they have lots of other services you can try or....ask for the young one with the black/red hair - she seemed nice :)

  A very nice place. Going there regularly for my haircut. You can walk in or make an appointment with a specific master, of you wish.
