(July 8, 2020, 6:28 pm)We are visiting the Parry Sound area currently. The lens of my wife's glasses came out and a screw was missing. We called Dr. Axt and were invited to bring the glasses in for repair. Within 5 minutes of handling over the glasses, they were returned fixed. Get this, no charge!! No charge! I don't know if this is their typical service, but I will pay it forward to the Parry Sound food bank with a cash donation. Good people need to to be appreciated. Thank you.

(May 8, 2020, 3:26 pm)While at the cottage I sat on my glasses and broke the frames, they looked like they could possibly be repaired. I can't drive without them. I called Dr. Axt's place in Parry Sound as it was the closest place that was still open to the public for optical emergencies during the Covid-19 Shutdowns. I knocked on the locked door and someone came and took the glasses from me. I waited outside. She returned in 15 minutes with the frames repaired and even put new nose guards in place. "No charge, have a nice day" she said. How kind of her. Thanks again.
