Katawoda Cottage Resort

Fun weekend with friends at these beautiful cottages. Amazing location, beautiful views everywhere and the owners were very welcoming too. Recommend this to anyone 100% and we are for sure going back. Lots of fun!

Katawoda Cottages has become a home away from home. Located a mere 20 minutes from Killbear Provincial Park, the cottages are situated on the most lovely landscape. Just steps away from a private beach, surrounded by beautiful pines and use of kayaks, this place is a haven. There is nothing like watching the sunset while bobbing about on water like glass!
Sylvia and her family were beyond helpful, responsive, always welcoming and doing everything they can to make sure you have the most wonderful stay! Whether you're coming up for some trails, bird watching, relaxing on the beach or feel adventurous, you have the means to all of that at Katawoda Cottages. I can't wait to be back!

I was able to stay in this gem for a weekend less than a 2.5hr drive from Toronto and situated in an absolutely beautiful area I had an amazing time. The cottages were functional and met all my needs over the weekend and the location was amazing. The cottages have a large shoreline beach with lots of tables we were able to take dinner down to the water every night. Couple that with kayak paddles and campfires it made for an amazing cottage retreat. Thank you so much for the wonderful experience!!

My family and I are avid nature lovers. Katawoda was perfect, the scenery is breathtaking . The amenities were outstanding as was Helen and her staff.
Our cottage was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The lake is so peaceful, great for canoeing and kayaking. Nature walks were amazing so much to explore.
I highly recommend Katawoda Cottages and will definitely be returning.

What an amazing week at Katawoda !!! I absolutely loved every second. They have so many fun things to do like fishing, kayaking, hiking and so much more ! Amazingly friendly staff and they are super helpful. The cottages are all clean and nicely kept, plus the lake is beautiful. Definitely a spot to take your family for a get away .The property is very well maintained, the owners clearly work very hard and put a big effort to keep it pleasant, clean, and well organized.
