(December 13, 2017, 2:38 am)May 1st to August 1st DO NOT WALK ONTO THE ISLAND. Please go on the Ontario Park website for details. This is an extremely sensitive area so tread lightly. I have reported several photos as they are not photos of the Limestone Islands. I came out here as a two day paddle trip leaving from Dillon Marina. Absolutely be sure that the weather is not going to turn on you. It is 4 km from the nearest islands and the two islands are 2.5 km away from each other. It is safer to access the islands by boat however the land around these islands drops off very gradually so a large motor will scrape the bottom several feet before the island. You do not want to be stuck out by these islands with a damaged engine.

(October 1, 2017, 1:17 pm)We did get to the Island by a long day of canoeing. The locals wanted to share our roast beef sandwiches which we exchanged for carved limestone necklaces.
