(August 7, 2021, 5:00 pm)The chute is fantastic, a lot of power. You can swim above the falls and below the chute. The current is strong. Not for kids. If you hike up the tracks on the memorial park side, it will bring you to another set of rapids with a calm spot you can soak in.

(August 13, 2019, 5:28 pm)Beautiful spot! Stop by for a picnic out alongside the rapids or bring your bathing suit and water shoes for an hour or 2 of swimming and adventuring around. Real young kids shouldn't be in the water alone but our older kids could handle the speed of the moving water with the exception of the spot going under the bridge which we just avoided.
