(November 20, 2020, 7:47 am)On November 18th our cat was picked up by a kind hearted person who believed he was injured. He was in fact not injured you see he actually only has 3 legs from an injury when we was very young. Which is where he got his name Achilles! And in fact it was hillside who helped save his life in the beginning. They came to his rescue again and worked diligently to try and contact me with the outdated contact info listed on his microchip. Once I got information via facebook that hillside had my boy I called immediately. I was so relieved because from the information I received he was injured so to call and fis out hes fine it was a huge relief. The pick up fee is something that I understand and appreciate hillside have a job to do and they do it well. She didnt have to get up off her couch and leave the warm house to drive over 20 mins for an "injured" cat but she did and I am grateful. I see a lot of reviews with angry animal owners but i bet that they are many animal owners of lost pets who would pay the fee ten fold to get their babies back. I appreciate everything hillside does and I am heart broken as too all the negative reviews towards them. They work in the best interest of the animals. Getting picked up by the pound is a reality when your a pet owner. Cats are usually left alone but with 3 legs he does look to be injured if you don't know him.

(October 6, 2020, 2:09 pm)Called hillside for an injured animal. They were very quick to respond. Have taken an injured bunny there as well with my kids and they were very compassionate.
