  I have mixed race, relaxed hair from years ago. My last good hair cut was in Dec 2017 and I had been desperate to find a place that could tame the curls and educate me on how to maintain them.
  
  Paula had a 5 month wait list for a good reason! I'm very thankful that I was able to get an appointment at all with how busy this lady is. It's a small cute salon and she will tag team between two appointments at once. While I did arrive on time for my appointment, you can tell that she gives as much time as her previous appointments need. I waited an extra 40 minutes but I got a longer service then what I originally booked for.
  
  My hair looks great now. All I really needed was a proper cut and some good product. Money well spent. Yes it's pricey but you won't find another salon in Ottawa that can do what Paula does. She is very experienced, kind and absolutely knows her stuff. She has my business as long as I am in this city.

  Paula is the best in the city hands down for all types of curly hair. I’ve gone to other salons in the past who were very highly reviewed for curly cuts but never quite got it right. Now Paula is the only one who I let touch my hair.

  This salon is phenomenal. If you or your little ones have curly hair, you need to see Paula. She is confident and cares for the hair, working with it rather than against it to get it hydrated and in shape. She's kind, generous, and pays attention to detail. Highly recommend for cut & colour.

  My experience was great. I had my hair done by Ermie who was super fun and took her time. No rushing and cutting corners, zero pressure and good results. Big plus, she respected my appointment time. It's not much to some people but my time is valuable and I expect my appointment time to be honoured which it was. I would recommend to try them out, there was another client there would seemed quite satisfied at the end of her treatment and looked amazing.
  They must be good all around because availability is scarce.
