  The place was fine and the staff friendly. I did buy a few items but as my primary sewing is heavy duty on a walking foot industrial machine I found little, such as thread or needles, that I could use. They seem to have a nice selection of embroidery machines and threads but that's not my thing. Still, it was a nice friendly place to spend a few minutes.

  What a great store! I had no idea what I was doing, they helped me find reasonably priced fabric and a pattern, all affordable and even gave me a contact for sewing lessons for my 10 yr old daughter! Friendly and knowledgable staff! Definitely recommend them for your sewing needs!

  Staff are very friendly and extremely helpful ready to answer any questions. Lovely store with so many fabric options !! My new favourite store .

  Today I popped in to ask some questions about what kind of sewing machine I should use for repairing some items on an 18 year old pop up trailer. Some curtains, upholstery, vinyl windows and such. I walked out with a used vintage brother sewing machine, some new parts, needles, sewing machine oil, and a 30 minutes tutorial on my new machine. AAcompletely different experience than my occasional trolling of kiji and researching what machines could do based on web research. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am glad I popped in for a visit. My hunt is over.

  This is one of my wife's favourite stores. Their repair service is top notch and very reasonably priced. On a recent visit the owner talked my wife out of buying a new serger and instead repaired her twenty-five year old machine for the cost of a servicing. The machine is running good as new.
