(November 22, 2017, 7:20 pm)Nanaimo Park is the best park in the Qualicum neighborhood. Really great place, clean park area, safe, lots of play structures, swings, has a basketball court, and a soccer field. In the winter there are two public skating rinks, a large one, which can be used for a full sized hockey game, and a small one for little kids, or if the big rink is full. There is also the community center building which is open all year for various clubs. There are community events here, the main ones are Community day in June, and a winter festival thing in the winter, both of these events are very popular.
