  Great place for family picnics, offers large free parking and a beach and also a playground for kids.

  This is my favorite beach in Ottawa! It's much cleaner than others and less crowded. There's also a big section of grass with many trees to sit under. I also love that it's close to bike trails and the Britannia conservation area, as you can do many outdoor activities in one day, just around that area.

  Wonderful place to come and relax. Long walking-cycling trail that will give you a real taste of nature; a big-wide beach, with a rocky lookout and a bar & grill to grab a bite and fountain - overlooking the Ottawa River. Britannia is the Bomb!

  A very clean and spacious park in the west end. I really enjoyed coming here in the summer. The atmosphere is great as well. Not to sure about swimming but, fun nonetheless.
  
  Will definitely return in the future. Parking is free with lots of space. There is also some good shops in the local area to check. I was able to get free red bull in the summer too haha lucky!
