(May 11, 2019, 1:22 am)My bf and I walked into this place “by accident” because we were starving and the Jamaican place around the corner was closed early.
If you can handle some spice, definitely come here. It was delicious and the flavours are authentic, not just deep fried Canadian Chinese food in sweet sauces.
Sure, they have more Chinese writing than English writing on the menu and the decor isn’t the best... but I am paying for tasty food, not ambience.
Plus I didn’t have to ask for “water without ice” because that’s how it was served anyway!! My kind of place. :) We will definitely be back!! -

(April 19, 2019, 5:44 am)This place is dedicated to serving Chinese customers, mostly university students. They make few concessions to non-Chinese diners. You won't get any 'Canadian Chinese' food here. The food we had tonight was very salty and very spicy. With lots of fat, as well. For what it was, it was very good. The serving staff is quite pleasant, but they are all untrained university students, with little idea of what diners want and need. The menu is in Chinese with tiny English descriptions added. No diet coke! No ice! I've been here about ten times over the last few years. I really enjoy it.

We got lucky and had a server/owner walk us through the menu and make reasonable choices for a Western palate. Food was excellent, prices reasonable. Ask for water and napkins. Edit: service was also very fast.
