  Today I went in to look at different styles and colours of bridesmaid dresses. I am a bridesmaid for an upcoming wedding, and unfortunately the bride-to-be lives in a town with very little dress selection, so I was trying to do some research for her. I was very lucky to meet Madison, who was extremely helpful. Even with a strong likelihood of not making a sale today (as I was just doing research for the bride), she was extremely helpful, showing me designers and swatches. I left with lots of pictures to show the bride, and some swatches to send her. She was extremely friendly and helpful, and I would definitely suggest making an appointment with her!

  I was very happy with my service when looking for a dress. I will say that firstly. I am in my little sisters wedding party and the dress was picked out for us. Loved her choice. Beautiful dress. I got measured and signed off on the measurements. Never doubled checked to see if she was right. She is suppose to be the professional so I didn't think anything of it. There policy is to pay in full. So I did .but thought that was odd. I've been through this process many times and never once was ever asked to pay in full before at other boutiques. That was a red flag to me. Not to mention we were told they have in house seamstress but when the dresses came in we were told they were to busy.
  
  Now picking up the dress. I go home and try it on. It's 5 sizes to big. I take my own measurements at home and notice that the measurements taken by the lady assisting us where really off. I called in right away to report it and was told final sale. Don't get me wrong I realize it's my fault for not double checking the measurements taken. I get it. So I ask what I can do and they said that I have time to order another dress at a smaller size, however there would be a $50 extra rush cost. Dress was $250 + additional $250+ $50 rush. I would have been out of pocket $600 in this case.
  
  I then booked an appointment with my seamstress whom informed me there is nothing she can do .the meausmeasure are so wrong. This is a seamstress I've used for everything and a close family friend. I trust her word. She saw how disappointed I was over this. She said she can rebuild the dress. And showed me options. I went with her recommendations knowing it's my cheapest option. Cost of alternations was $175+HST.
  
  After reflecting over this I felt the need to write a review so others can be more cautious on their policies.
  I would have been extremely happy with the boutique if I was offered to order me another dress at cost for the mistake. I would have still paid the extra, and would have walked away a happy customer.

  I had a wonderful experience purchasing my bridal gown with Madison. She was incredibly friendly, funny and bubbly, at no point did I ever feel like she was trying to sell me something. She listened to exactly what I was looking for, stayed under my price point and kept bringing me beautiful dress after beautiful dress to try on to the point it was getting incredibly difficult to even pick a favourite! But I did and I love my dress and cannot wait for it to come in. The process was quick, simple and informative from coming in to the store to purchasing and getting all of our information. The space is beautiful, open and they carry a ton of incredible dresses. I highly recommend shopping for your wedding dress here!

  We were able to get an appointment in short notice and had an amazing experience! Liz was our consultant and she was so attentive, caring, and experienced! With her help we not only narrowed down the style of dress we liked, but also found The Dress! The fitting rooms are huge and have a personal set of chairs for guests to sit in while the bride is trying on dresses. There is a podium to stand on, a three-way mirror, and tons of accessories and veils to really envision to complete look. Great selection of designers for a variety of tastes, and friendly staff and fellow customers. Truly felt cared about and treated “With Love”

  Maddie was our consultant and she was incredibly helpful! All of my bridesmaids were able to find a dress that truly suited them and stick to their budget. They even ended up staying a little late to be sure we found what we needed. This is not the only bridal salon we went to but it was by far the best! Thank you for helping us to make my special day even more special!
