  We moved my father out of his last family home in May of 2018, that he was in for more than 20 years. That was a very difficult time for us all, but the staff were the first thing I noticed. They are so accommodating, friendly, caring and very attentive to all the needs of each and every member of the community. Recently we had to move my father to a new facility do to his decline in health and the increase in long term care needs. The new facility is very nice; however, I must say that I wish he was still at Stonehaven. When the topic of retirement homes comes up in conversation, I always tell people they HAVE to go to Stonehaven if they have not already been there. If they say they are just starting to look at places online first, I tell them Stonehaven needs to be the first place to take a tour.

  My mother has been a resident at Stonehaven for over three years now. Our family is very grateful to the warm and caring staff for tending to her specific needs. They truly give their hearts to all the residents and their families, making it an amazing place. The staff works hard to fill the days with fun, interesting activities, healthy services (food, exercise) and physical and emotional support. Dedicated people, from the maintenance and dining staff, all the way to the PSWs and management, make this an exceptional place to live. The facility is clean, well-kept and presents a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend Stonehaven to families that are looking for a place for their loved ones to live!

  As a moving company that works mainly with seniors moving into retirement communities we have had the opportunity to work with over 30 communities in our nations capital meeting over 300 new seniors each year. I can say without a doubt Stonehaven is a community at the top of my list for quality, compassion, friendliness and quite simply a place I would recommend to my own friends and family preparing for retirement living.
  
  Even if you are just starting to think retirement, the staff and residents at Stonehaven is a great place to start.

  The staff are very pleasant, bright and friendly. They are professional and pay close attention details. Love the atmosphere and very welcoming. Overall, highly recommend.

  We cannot say enough good things about Stonehaven. The staff go above and beyond to ensure the residents are healthy and happy. There are always multiple activities that take place daily for the enjoyment of the residents and they are encouraged to have their family join in the fun. The attention and care given by all the staff show that they truly care about the residents who live there. We are always welcomed by the staff when we visit and our family members' needs are always met with attention and love and respect. We would highly recommend Stonehaven to anyone who is looking for a retirement home, the staff and the home itself are amazing!
