Mark conducted a home inspection for our 30-day and 1-year Tarion reports. Very grateful to have had his services which culminated with a very in-depth report that included pictures which made it very easy to communicate with trades that were arriving to remedy the problem. It included references to the building code so the builder had no choice but to fix.
Mark was very detailed in his inspection and took the time to explain every observation to me during the inspection. When the inspection was done I was provided with a very detailed report (69 pages!) including pictures of all of the main items noted in the report and even explanatory diagrams of how to remedy any of the observations. The report was issued within hours of the inspection and I couldn't have been more pleased with the service. Strongly recommend.
I'm a Realtor and use Mark from Accurate Building Inspections quite often. Mark always explains everything in a way that everyone can understand, is very thorough in his inspections and is always available for follow-up communication.
There is another company with a similar business name that does building inspections and my guess is that the bad review is related to them! Do not hesitate to use Mark Bowditch as your home inspector.
I don't know who gave Mark one star, but he did my home inspection today and I could immediately see that he is very knowledgeable. He caught quite a few things in the inspection and I feel very informed on the house, top to bottom.
