An urban gem - a forest retreat with walking paths not far from downtown Ottawa.
Nice local community space with lots of greens. A nice place to visit.
Beautiful park with friendly people. Really enjoy taking the dog here for training. Beautiful fresh air. Lots to explore. Community gardens.
I went to Vanier Sugar Festival almost two weeks ago! It was awesome! The indigenous people's crafts were cool; stages and musics in the big tent were truly impressed; it was the first time I had ever seen maple trees and sap buckets; and farm animals and sledge dogs were genuinely cute! I saw a dog with odd eyes. I will never forget this festival! The size was a bit smaller than my expectation though. 😁
Great park! The sugar shack is great , the food is great and very friendly youthful staff !
