(November 26, 2021, 12:29 am)This was our first visit to Idriss. The staff were very helpful, explaining the different things on the menu. We ended up ordering the Royal Couscous (sausage, tender lamb, chicken and vegetables) and a tagine with meatballs and eggs. We have had similar food in Morocco, but this was tastier. We had baklava for dessert, it was still warm from the oven.

(October 25, 2021, 1:18 pm)First the ambience is very warm and cozy, very homely decor, the food is so enjoyable, well made and more homemade style than a restaurant...and did I mention that it's well priced for the delicious delicacies you can choose from? Be nice don't enjoy the goodies alone, take a friend along when you go.

(September 5, 2021, 12:26 pm)I went with the family to this restaurant, we discovered a super nice couple, passionate about cuisine, the dishes were simply delicious, very well prepared and very fresh. The restaurant is very well decorated with the colors of Algeria, a sparkling cleanliness and a real family atmosphere. I highly recommend it for lovers of Maghreb gastronomy in general and Algerian in particular. I wish a very good continuity and on my next visit to Ottawa I will go definitely with my family without an inch of doubt, we were simply won over by the delicacy of the dishes, the friendliness of the owners and the cleanliness of the restaurant.
