Splash Wave Pool

Large pool and perfect for family swims. Nice and warm kiddie pool for infants and newborns. The wave pool is a hit amongst the toddlers and the lane swim lets you trade off with another parent to get a workout in!

A delightful pool for kids and parents. The wave pool itself is cool but there is a warmed baby pool for little ones.

You have to book your time slot so plan ahead. It is also a good idea to bring a lock for your stuff. They have lockers but you will want to lock the locker.

Bring flip flops for the locker room

It's a great spot to bring kids, a bit too crowded on weekends though. There wasn't enough space or lockers in the really small family change room. Also not sure why it says to book a time on the Ottawa recreation website they didn't check or enforce that in any way. Besides that it's great fun.

Not a great experience yesterday on Sunday. Okay I should have checked the hours
myself.

My boys and I got there at 4:30 not knowing that they closed at 5. The clerk didn't mention it and made us people price. By the time we got a new phone it was already 4:45 and we only got to enjoy 15 minutes.

My kids were really disappointed when 15 minutes later we were told you need to get out the pool is closed.

Honestly I would have expected the staff to have explained that the school is closing at 5. And to give us the choice to Stay or Leave.

On a positive note, the waves are back, the slide is open yay.
