(October 23, 2021, 5:40 pm)I booked myself into Willowbend Retirement Home for 2 weeks in order to convalesce following my long-awaited hip replacement surgery at the end of September 2021. The luxury accommodations, big bright open spaces, gourmet meals and full activity roster made me feel I was on vacation. But even better is the caring, attentive and compassionate staff. Because I was on the Assisted Living floor, I observed male Nurse Nico tenderly comfort a very senior and upset resident who had recently broken a bone. Following my own fall, Niko and other staff promptly came to my rescue. In hindsight, I should have taken advantage of all the PSW services and assistance that were offered. I would highly recommend Willowbend Retirement Home for Respite or Convalescence care.

(June 28, 2021, 2:37 pm)We moved our mom from B.H. which had neglect issues and management issues. From day one at Willowbend the service and care and friendly staff has been outstanding. Communication has been very big which I find is very important for the care of a loved one. My mom seems way less depressed and says everyone is so nice with her. This is very comforting for us. Her personal hygiene is great and her room is always spotless. I truly recommend this retirement location.

(June 2, 2021, 12:51 pm)All the staff at WILLOWBEND is fantastic (from the receptionist, management, food service and director of care and her staff), they truly care for the residences. With COVID it does make it difficult to visit if you are not a caregiver as per Public Health guidelines/rules (it is what it is for now and everyone should respect that). They have ensured quality of care and comfort to all their "People" including my parents who love it there. I would 110% recommend Willowbend Retirement.
