(March 16, 2022, 3:28 pm)Ali is an essential part of shooting film in Ottawa. He has a huge selection of film and tons of other gear available as well. Always happy to stop in and drop off film to have developed. He often goes out of his way to ensure prompt developement with a smile (One time some equipment was being serviced, which he didn’t let delay my scans being ready on time).

Ottawa photographers with any level of expertise will find Galaxy Camera the only true must go to place in Ottawa, with great inventory, awesome service, knowledgeable and the absolute best film processing service and printing around. This local Ottawa (small) business deserves to supported by the community so that we never lose this gem.

More importantly, Ali has fostered such a strong community around film and photography. The service is always great and he takes the time to share his insights/expertise and generous heart with each customer. I always leave with a smile on my face. Ali took the time to show me how to work my new camera myself and gives you actual valuable information on how to take better photos and take better care of your items. It's such an incredibly refreshing experience every time and I am so glad I discovered Galaxy Camera. I have tried other stores but none of them compare. Here are some photos I took that Ali had developed for me! So sick :-)
