Birchview Dog Boarding

I highly recommend Birchview Dog Boarding. Laura and Jody were absolutely amazing. They took the time to get to know our Pup Izzy and showed her lots of love and affection. They were very accommodating and I always felt completely at ease leaving Izzy there. She absolutely LOVED going to Birchview and always came home happy and tired from a day of play!

It’s really important to me that my dog is taken care of while I am away. Laura and her husband love what they do and are incredibly caring towards all the doggos that spend their time there. I will continue to use their services and recommend them to all my friends.

Wonderful place to take your dog!! Our dog came home more trained then when we brought him and he was only there for a weekend! Great people and easy to communicate with. Reassured me that Hunter was doing well and eased my worries of it being his first time.

As owners, Laura and Jody attend development workshops and continuously seek opportunities to professionally grow their business to provide the most personalized experience for your dog. They offer a wide variety of options for your dog during their stay: frozen yogurt treats, pupsicles and stuffed kongs, agility training, nose training, group play, fetch, soccer, a doggie pool for cooling off, nature walks, and quiet resting time. The good diversity of dogs means they'll be able to group yours with suitable mates, yet the small size facility means your dog won't get 'lost in the pack.'

What's more, is the care Laura and Jody have your dog (and you) while at the facility or at home. They are friendly and thoughtful - always willing to provide a quick recap of the day, a thoughtful Christmas card with your dog's portrait, videos or photos on Facebook, OR a bag of treats, including a Vancouver Canucks cookie, when we moved to BC :) When Habiba wasn't feeling well, they were able to keep a close eye on her, provide us with updates, suggest tips, and check-in on her after we were home.

BC may have a lot of great things, but we'll be hard-pressed to find another boarding facility like Birchview... anywhere! Highly recommended as the best boarding facility in the area. Do not hesitate to contact Burchview!

We can only hope to find a daycare and boarding team out in BC that would be as amazing as Birchview! Habiba felt so at home at here. We have been to several other facilities in Norfolk and seriously, there is zero competition. Habiba will miss you guys very much!!
