Dover Coast

I've read a negative post above and can only say they gave up too soon. Due to primarily outside forces and what seems to be "red tape" throughout the region, there have been several delays.

In hindsight, I'm sure some of the frustration would have been avoided if we had better information going in, but all has been done according to the Tarrion agreement.

Our interaction with Grant and John has been fine.

Here is the thing. Location location location. Just talk to some of the neighbors and it removes any purchase regrets.

We are delayed and waiting as patiently as possible. Are we frustrated? Absolutely!

If I had any advice at all it would be. Do Not plan your move until your new home is almost ready for you to move in.
Expect delays. Just plan for them.

From what I have heard from friends this is very common in most areas in Ontario.

Phase 3 is just around the corner....

Lovely quaint retirement beach community located just across the street from Lake Erie, right on a golf course, just a stone's throw from downtown Port Dover. These are adorable solidly constructed homes with all the little extras, that you can also tweak to your personal taste. You get the use of a huge park-size dog run for your puppy. Dover Coast residents get a discount card to use at Davids Restaurant, as well as use of your own private outside patio deck right at the water's edge....can't wait for that. We picked a lot that backs onto one of the greens, the view from the sheltered rear patio will remind me of our vacations in Florida. They are also planning a medical center right next door in the coming phase. The proposed community hall pictures are stunning and it includes everything imaginable. Pop in and see Trish at the model home. She helped us so much with many of our selections. She always makes us feel welcome. We drive in regularly to check out the model home for ideas. Everybody is so nice and friendly. We already have made new friends, and we haven't even taken possession yet. After 60 years of working and living in Hamilton, we can't wait to move into our dream home and new carefree lifestyle. No more cutting and watering grass or shoveling snow.
