(August 29, 2020, 4:57 pm)Excellent kick off point and convenient. Good prices for canoe rental. Good service. Have ice. Careful to not accidentally park in a reserved spot, the visitors parking loops into the reserved parking and some signs have fallen down. Takes time to process and internet was down causing credit machine to be down. Parking cost $40 for a week.
We cut our trip short and have yet to see the refund for the prorated difference, but that's not unusual yet. Will update if it fails to come through in two weeks, so no news is good news! -

(December 3, 2019, 9:06 pm)Nice place to host small events. Beautiful views of the lake with glass windows surrounding the venue. No AC, kitchen or bathrooms though. Its just an empty space with a sectional sofa. BYOE- Bring your own everything!! Catering company made it work with portable burners etc. It was fantastic.

The launch fee, parking, and gas prices are all reasonably priced (no gouging), although items in the store can be a bit pricey, but overall not bad...not unexpected as you're paying for the convenience of not going all the way into Bala. Jeff, the Marina Mechanic is a great guy and did an amazingly quick job of ordering and replacing the throttle cable. And his prices were very reasonable, as well. The people working at this marina make it an awesome and peaceful place to come to. They're super accommodating and truly want everyone to enjoy the beauty and fun of Go Home Lake.
