  I went there today to look at their 2003 Mercury Marauder.
  Both people very nice, knowledgable and helpful.
  NOTE: Marauder engine has ticking noise at rear of drivers side cylinder bank. Through net searching afterwards, this is due to design flaw which results in poor cooling at rear of the block causing valve guide to fail. Fix prior to full breakage is a new block (Ford redesigned it).
  
  Ticking from both sides front to back on this engine is due to carbon on valves, fix is seafoam fuel additive (per what i read on a few sites). But this car does not have this problem. I informed the owner so he is aware of it. I told them i would buy if fixed.

  Fair price for a fair car .. No surprises. But in life always do your own homework ..
