(December 28, 2020, 7:31 pm)We have connected with George of Manitoulin Timber Frames for the last four years. In that time he has crafted a very functional and artistic timber frame structure for our back entrance that supports retaining walls and adds aesthetic appeal to our whole house.(no nails- hand crafted pegs throughout) He has built a standard stick frame garage that is extremely functional and has some very appealing timber frame style features that he built into it- as well as using a lot of local wood that we had on hand.
Finally- George has installed new windows and replaced all the siding on our house- suggesting and adding in many features that will make the siding and windows last much longer.
When you sign a contract with George- there are no hidden surprises-He is very punctual, professional and is a true craftsman. When he is finished- everything is done right- he does not compromise.

(May 14, 2020, 12:17 am)Although their specialty is timber frame construction, George and his team were willing to assist us with the repair of an old chimney which was unsafe and falling apart. They are very professional, on time and gave us a full written estimate before any work commenced. The work was completed according to the prior agreement and there were no surprises or additional charges. Their attention to detail, honesty and quality work were excellent and I definitely recommend them.

(January 27, 2020, 5:01 pm)excellent contractor - highest quality of work and work ethic. showed up every day on time and gave a full day of work. very professional, drew up a contract which stated when he would start, length of time to completion, cost of material and labour. Also gave us 3D diagram of the project months before start date so there would be no miscommunication. I would highly recommend George, great person to deal with
