You walk the isles, you can't find something, you catch an employees eye in that store and they remarkably vanish right before your eyes or ask you to wait for help from another employee and that person NEVER comes. Not the case at Herlehy Home Builders at all - ever. I emailed the store last week after receiving continued exemplary service from all of their staff and I wanted to share a portion of that as a review so others can know this store is worth a visit: "You guys are not a retail store you are friends!" ..... "This blows me away thank you very much" ..... "All I can say is thank goodness for Home Hardware maintaining a human face in this cold world of big box American hardware stores. You certainly have my customer loyalty."

(March 16, 2019, 1:45 pm)The place to go for whatever you need - the guys behind the counter seem to know everything. You can find rare, older parts for appliances etc. here and just spend time browsing the random hardware they carry.

(December 23, 2018, 5:22 am)Excellent hardware store. Well stocked with random items you may need as well as fasteners. Staff is very friendly and always willing to help. The staff often finds ways to discount your items at checkout which is a pleasant surprise and something you don't get at big box stores.
