Rideau Lake Houseboat Rentals

We rented a Houseboat last summer from Rideau Lakes Houseboats in Portland, We have rented boats many times from other companies over the last decade, from the time we arrived to the time of check out everything was perfect, these boats are kept in a very high standard nest we ever rented . They are very spacious and clean,with all modern equipment, GPS ipad was provided , USB ports for us to keep our phones charged a bonus. It was a hot week and the Central Air Conditioning worked perfect, We used the two single kayaks everyday as there are many enchanting places to take them, Heather gave us a childs Kayak for our 8 year old at No extra cost. They provide many extras at no extra cost which made our vacation super. The Rideau Lakes are Spectular, the beauty is unlike anywhere we have visited, so peaceful, we stopped at a couple of towns for some very good meals, most of them we cooked on the boat, the cleaning water made it perfect for swimming.
Everything we needed and more was provided, the fuel consumption was so affordable, we spoke to people who rented from another company who charged for engine run time, Rideau lakes we only paid for the gas we used it was $156 for the whole week. We traveled from Portland to Jomes falls and back.
The lock people were so helpful and spoke highly of Rob and Heather. Kevin at Westport docks was also very helpful. Westport and Chaffeys Locks are a must to visit. Since then we have recommemded Rideau Lakes Boat rentals to many people. We will be back in 2020. John and Linda

This is the second year we have rented from Big Rideau Lake houseboat rentals. The boat are amazing. They are clean and very comfortable. We plan on renting again next year. Heather and Rob think of everything. When we arrived Heather even helped me put away some of the things we had brought on the boat. They are always very helpful.. Love relaxing on their boats. A great vacation experience. Rented one week last year. Enjoyed it so much rented for 2 weeks this year.

Hi we rented the 32 ft model arriving July first. The daytime temp was 34 deg. Heather went over the contract and we boarded the boat. Surprise number one the a/c was running and the boats interior was immaculate.

Went over the boats operation and we were off. We had a great week without any issues caused by the boat.
Being in our eighties we had a great experience.

I rented a houseboat with my father so we can get away from the hustle and bustle. I definitely did not regret it. The owners are very knowledgeable and very accommodating. They allowed us to bring our bicycles on board. We booked in advance just to be safe to ensure we got a 40-foot houseboat. All of their boats are clean, functional and easy to drive. I will definitely do business with them again.
