(October 15, 2018, 12:22 am)Great piece of land to hike. We did the south loop with the lookouts just last weekend and it took us about 3 hours at a moderately leisure pace. Terrain was rocky as predicted, muddy in some places, well indicated by the blue signs.
Hiking boots a must, for sure.
Ticks mid-October? Yes. Deer ticks. 3 on the hubby and 1 on me. Definitely wear long socks over your long pants. Just a recommendation...
Sights: beautiful, especially this time a year when the the colours of the leaves are changing!
Would hike again? Totally! -

(April 22, 2017, 10:55 pm)Room for about 10 to 12 cars max. If it's busy though I imagine there's no problem parking along the edge of the road here. No facilities here so go before you go!
