Silver Lake Provincial Park

A very nice place for camping especially when you are taking your kids. Has very nice place for them to play. Only problem is some of the camping sites are near to highway. Night time vehicles noice is a concern. There are few fishing spots near. Over all our experience with this place was very good. Will visit this place again.

My favorite campground since I was a kid. Its well maintained, with showers and proper bathrooms in the middle, and "comfort stations" spread throughout. The Beach is a decent size and is combed frequently. Most of the sites are nice as well. Check photos on the park website before picking a site.

Had a great time despite the rain, kayaked hiked, biked, explored, swam.

The lots are pretty private depending on where you book it in the park. My fiancee and I stayed on the edge by the water. We had a two day visit and we went hiking, biking and canoeing. The highway is a little loud in the early hours of the morning and you can hear the trucks occasionally as they go by. Most people seem to stay up pretty late and there are two beaches with plenty of room to share. I actually didn't notice a lot of kids there but I know there were some around. We brought our dog with us as well and he seemed to enjoy it. The only thing you gotta know is the bathrooms can be a bit of a hike and there is no electricity at most campsites. It was a good time though. Also I gotta add: the fire pits there are awesome and i cooked food on them every day. They have little built in grills and you can buy wood at the front. Perth is also right around the corner so Tim's is an option too!
