(June 23, 2018, 5:39 pm)Great paddle with a kayak or canoe, can be a bit windy and the current a bit strong but still manageable. I have to say probably the friendliest place in Ontario if not the top three. Most of my time was spent chatting with people on the river, in the park and from river side cottages. The launch at the park is a beach so easy to launch your kayak or canoe.

Check the play structure for paper wasps before letting your kids on!
Baseball field and tennis courts are up the stairs in the adjacent park.
