  Very rarely does one encounter a retail store owner such as Nipun, let alone pet oriented. Firstly, I actually avoid other pet stores which I won't name but there aren't many in Sarnia as others know, due to leaving feeling really quite sad about animal care and their conditions. This type of occurrence would and will never happen under these owners' watch, I'm very certain of it. Second, all three other staff members are fantastic and helpful (I have had individual experiences with all three, very accommodating and knowledgeable...this does not happen by accident, only further diligence and care by the owners), I have yet to meet Nipun's wife who also works there but I would anticipate only great things.
  
  So I have been in a few times, being newer to the Province, only being able to purchase my cat's food here I found out quickly. I then really needed my cat's claws trimmed quickly, I called local groomers for two days, no phones answered and no returned messages either which was disappointing. I tried this Pet Valu location and no appointment needed, I was able to come right in, a very fair rate and a stellar job too done by Rachael who treated my girl so very well.
  
  (A quick edit/update: Needing my cat's nails trimmed last week, as soon as we walked in, Nipun noticed her eye was runny and offered a product to help and even had a staff member administer the drops so I would know both reaction and technique. This was so highly appreciated and honestly, I was expecting this rather large bottle of drops to be quite expensive but they were only $8 amazingly and have been helping so much, saving us a costly vet visit.)
  
  While there, I met Nipun for the first time as well, I was browsing only, zero intention of buying, while my little girl was as well, he invited her to try a few things which wouldn't be the norm understandably. He was extremely intuitive with my furbaby, seeing us leave and seeing her being upset, not sulking but actually sad...even depressed. I called a number of hours later after seeing she was seriously still depressed, never wanting or asking for anything from me, she REALLY wanted just one thing, but a rather costly one thing. (Nipun saw this in her when we left the first time, he quite amazingly picked up on her mindset, no joke, he saw it.)
  
  To not have others simply "expect" certain things, I will leave it at, we worked out a great deal, only one an owner could make. It wasn't just for me though and numerous recent financial circumstances/setbacks but for my little girl, he CARES, truly and sincerely about animal welfare and their actual happiness/mental state. I went back right at closing to purchase the item, Nipun dismantled it, gave me instructions, so kindly loaded it into my vehicle and even took me back in to offer future suggestions on products that will help overall health and healing after we got talking...nearly an hour of his time after closing (this was such a rarity and definitely unexpected).
  
  Nothing about this, or prior experiences at this location were "sales tactics", they were customer service that went SO far above and beyond with my girl's wellbeing 100% at heart. The main thing one can do in my opinion is offer customer service that can not be beat to stand out above all others and this has been achieved leaps and bounds above anywhere I can think of; a truly caring, friendly, considerate and sincerely kind human being owns this store and truly deserves the recognition and all the praise for offering an outstanding service to this community. They, without a doubt, have my loyalty as a customer for life.

  They were just lovely to my daughter and I when we went shopping for our new puppy! Prices were good and a big selection, we will be back for sure!

  Amazing staff and owners. Greet us and our pets by name. Can call anytime to see if there is someone available to clip nails. No appointment necessary. Got my pet rabbit Willy there for $10 and he's a rescue! Kittens and cats from Humane society and Cats Chance. Love how they give animals a second chance.
