  It's a good hospital. I was born there in 94, it was called St. Joan's Hospital.

  My husband recently had a stroke at our home in Brights Grove. Fortunately I recognized it immediately and within 35 minutes he was in the hospital being treated by an excellent team of physicians, nursing and technical staff. His rapid recovery following the "clot buster" was amazing and despite having lost his speech and use of right limbs he was back to normal within two hours. He was then transferred to ICU for 24 hrs and then the stroke ward for 24 hrs. He was discharged exactly 48 hrs from the onset of his stroke. He has now completely recovered and is back to full health. I cannot thank all the staff involved in his care, enough, for their attention, care, professionalism and friendliness and for sending my husband back for me!
  As a retired RN myself, I know we, in the health sector, can receive very negative feedback at times. All I can say is that I would have no hesitation in recommending Bluewater Health to anyone for excellent care & treatment.

  I'm from Chatham. I had a 6 hr surgery at this hospital just over 3 years ago. I was in the hospital for 2 and 1/2 weeks. The staff were fantastic. Dr Ramirez and Dr Martin were phenomenal! I will always be grateful for the care I received here.
