Paid $20 for a burger and fries with a pop, no problem at first as this isn't too far outside of the norm for this type of joint. Always nice to support the smaller restos.
Inside felt disorganized, building has not been touched up since the last tenants. Considering the price the building does not match up.
Burger was a bit overdone, not quite completely dry but not much flavor. Bun was also a bit over-toasted but I sometimes prefer it that way if the burger isn't also overdone.
Fries were the biggest letdown. Not crispy and served with no salt, this is strange to me. They tasted like they were only fried once, rather than once at low temp, and again at high temp to crisp the outside.
Will have to try it a few more times to get a full experience, however, at that price tag it is hard to justify for the food. -

(August 30, 2022, 2:03 pm)Stopped by for lunch and we were certainly glad we did. Super friendly gentleman greeted us and was very welcoming to his restaurant. We ordered our burgers -taking advantage of the Monday special which was suggested to us. Glad it was, cause the burgers were fantastic. Homemade pattie on a perfect bun with just the right amount of real bacon and cheese. Nice to see another local business bouncing back from the pandemic. We were happy to support local and have a great lunch at the same time. We’ll be back. A few more times I’m sure.
