We got our first Golden Doodle from Golden-belle kennels 13 years ago.... we got an amazing girl, Molly. She’s a mini but on the bigger side ( 40 lbs) which is what we were hoping for. She favours the Golden Retriever side ( sheds a lit) but is a first gen Doodle. She’s been the happiest, healthiest girl ever. Over 13 and going strong. We have had such a great experience that we are going to get a second Golden Doodle from Golden belle. She’s so calm, and easy... she’s a complete joy!

We just bought our Standard F1 Bernedoodle from Helen at Goldenbelle Kennels (Dec 12 2020). If you are looking for a fancy dog breeder who takes fancy photos of puppies dressed up in cute outfits, with cute names and an active social media account - look elsewhere. Helen has beautiful dogs with amazing dispositions. Helen clearly takes amazing care of her dogs and spends a lot of time socializing them and caring for them. My only complaint with Goldenbelle Kennels is that Helen's response time to emails/texts can be very long. Helen makes it very clear on her website as well as social media that this has been an issue and does ask for you to be persistent as she does respond; this wasn't a deal breaker for us. When we did get a hold of Helen, she was very pleasant and helpful. We got weekly photos of our pup and she did provide updates a few times.

Our pup is absolutely gorgeous. He is so smart, so sweet and so gentle. It is very clear that his time spent at Goldenbelle Kennels with Helen was loving and he was extremely well cared for by her.

When we spoke with Helen before the pups were born, we told her what we wanted in a dog. Helen picked two pups that met what we wanted and let us pick which we wanted. In the end, Helen was spot on with the colouring and fur type we were looking for. Our new pup is exactly what we wanted and more beautiful than we could have imagined.

Pick up during Covid was different, but as expected. Helen was very happy to chat with us and give us all the documents needed. He came with a blanket, some treats, paper work and a few items from the dog food company.

Our vet has commented on how sweet and beautiful our new pup is, and even asked us where he came from. Our new pup is everything we wanted in a dog and we couldn't be happier with him.

If you're looking for a beautiful dog who is well cared for my the breeder, then I highly recommend Helen at Goldenbelle. Just be aware that she is very honest and correct when she says her response times are slow, and don't expect to get fancy photos on facebook or instagram of your puppy or the litter. At the end of the day, you will get a beautiful dog with a great personality and s/he will be well worth the wait - I promise.
