(October 11, 2020, 2:54 am)We tried to adopt a pet thru many adoption agency with no luck. We then answered an ad for a dog thru the local shelter. Was a great experience as we adopted an absolutely perfect dog that needed a family. He has settled in and became a forever member of our family. Please check with your local humane society if your looking for pet .

(September 16, 2020, 4:02 pm)Its not a pleasant memory, but when my cat got out and was taken to the humane society they let me have the room to grieve the loss of my baby. 10/10 bc they let me come in and cuddle the cats no questions asked

(August 23, 2020, 5:31 pm)I've never known more hard-working and dedicated staff! (Please donate if you can through their website, they do a lot on a very tight budget and they're fundraising for a new facility) I've adopted two cats from here and the staff answered all our questions and let us take the time to pick the right pets for our home. They always provide lots of details about the animal's personality, suitability for children/other pets/etc.
Much love from my two black cats and their forever mom :)
