  Went for spider exhibit which was great. Been in summer and gardens are beautiful. We got family membership.

  Train exhibit is here. Very friendly staff and beautiful train sets in action. My kids were very excited by it all. For an indoor activity this time of year I would definitely recommend.

  If you love gardens you must make a stop at the Royal Botanical Gardens. There are two locations: the main garden and the Rock Gardens a short distance away.
  
  We loved the Rock Garden because of its tiered layout and water features.
  
  The main garden has a variety of sections and the fountains are lovely.
  
  We had lunch at the bistro. Slightly pricey but convenient.
  
  Give yourself plenty of time (3-4 hours) or spend the day and go from one garden to the other. It's not cheap but worth the time and money.

  The Rock Gardens are absolutely spectacular in every season. We were there mid October in the rain, we were the only people there and it was still breathe taking! If you're going to come see the Rock Garden to make sure you see as much of the Royal Botanical Gardens as you can. It's all included in one admission or better yet come often as you like with a yearly membership. I pay my dues with pleasure and no regrets every year.
