(July 19, 2021, 2:14 pm)Came first thing in the morning, which was great because I have never laid sod before and if it had come in the afternoon I would have been working into the night. I laughed a bit at the 6 hour time limit to get it off the pallet but I needed it even with my lawn fully prepped and someone helping me. I ordered extra based on others comments but I went overboard so I just quickly prepped some other patchy areas and laid it there. It's all taking pretty well from what I can tell (day 7 now). The only problems I have had are with raccoons peeling back two pieces looking for snackos. I suggest looking into nematodes prior to laying down sod to prevent this (I didn't know I had grubs since I had hand tilled the lawn and leveled it and only found one dead one) and also consider some outdoor lights and ultrasonic noise makers or movement detection water sprayer deterrent if you have grubs and raccoons or skunks. Apparently grubs like new sod too. The rolls themselves were 98% perfect. There were a couple that had a rip in the middle but no big deal! Lots of comments from the neighbours about how beautiful it is! Great customer service! How to guide is very helpful.

(June 16, 2021, 9:45 am)I had two sod projects at our property. We ordered sod from Greenhorizons and had the sod delivered. Both times the sod came as scheduled with the driver offering advice on laying the sod as this was our first fime doing so in large sections.
Followup emails from the company offered pointed tips on watering schedules and a one year sod guarantee. The bags of free sod starter fertilizer was appreciated as well.
All in all a great experience and no disappointments. These folks have their business running like a well oiled machine. -

(June 8, 2021, 6:00 pm)Great experience. I made an error ordering online, but called, zero hold time and the gentleman fixed my error quickly. Not a long time to wait until delivery. Great instructions on installing sod properly. Sod delivered was super fresh and great quality. Came early enough that I had the six-hour window that they recommend to install the grass. Skid was picked up automatically the next day without my having to call. Highly recommend these folks for grass and would definitely use them again!

The delivery time and process is excellent. The delivery details are communicated very well and very clear. The quality of the soil and the pre-fertilized sod is excellent. Every step of the way and every person involved from ordering to delivery is service oriented. Very impressive and I’d highly recommend.
