Worked at MANA for 6 months only because I moved away. Good working environment (colleagues!). Learned a lot in a short time. Definitely would have stayed longer.
I got hired at MANA straight after graduating as a Quality Engineering Coordinator in the Quality Department about 4-5 months ago now.
I find the current stage that the business is in to be exciting because it is essentially a start-up company in a 100 year old steel mill (formerly Stelco). Some may find this stage to be arduous, but I find the challenge invigorating and I love feeling like I am building something. I love the team that I work with and can't wait to see all the opportunities that unfold, and I am excited to be working towards my P.Eng.
I have a HUGE variety of projects that I am working on and the things I do day to day change, including product development, health and safety awareness, product certifications, calibrations, product trials, report writing, lab and equipment development, and the list goes on.
I am busy and I wouldn't have it any other way.
