  This senior residence Is like a hotel. Many different wonderful amenities like a in house movie theater, hair dresser with spa services and bistro with my different complimentary hot drinks like cappuccino and lattès. Dining room has restaurant quality food most of which is made in house. A la Carte menu with menu different food choices available at a meals. My mom is loving living at Deerview. Thanks to Haley and the other staff they rock!

  My mother in law just moved in and is loving it. The food is so yummy and homemade! Haley has been very helpful with anything we needed. Nurses and Psw's are very caring. They also have a memory care units for seniors with dimentia. Such a great place and my wife is so relieved to have her mom so happy

  My parents moved to Deerview almost 2 years ago from another retirement residence in another city in order to be more centrally located between their children. In that first year, our family was not very satisfied with the management of the property. In the meantime my mother had become terminal so a move was not a possibility. However a new general manager took over during the second year and I can honestly say that we are so happy that we kept my father at Chartwell Deerview. The leadership of Parry Lawrence (the new GM) has made all the difference. There is a sense now that the staff work together as a “team”. Complaints and/or suggestions are actually now being heard and followed up on. We have also been very impressed with the support, genuine concern and follow up that my father has received since the recent passing of my mother. Parry is also encouraging both the engagement of residents and community building through quite a few new activities and entertainment. We are certainly assured that under the direction of this new management team, that we have placed my father In a most supportive environment in which he can age with dignity and that we can expect the care that most families wish for their aging parents. Kudos Chartwell!
